Help with Sprig
Write to us and a person will answer, usually within a few days.
Please don’t send photos of people. A photo of the plant is welcome.
Troubleshooting
I bought Sprig Care but it isn’t showing
Open Sprig, open the Care sheet and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you’re signed in to the App Store with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe. If it still doesn’t appear, email us with the date of purchase (no receipts or card details needed).
I have a new iPhone. Where are my plants?
Sprig has no account and keeps no copy online, so your plants live only on the phone where you kept them. If you set up the new iPhone from an iCloud or computer backup of the old one, app data is normally restored with it. If you set it up as new, your kept plants won’t come across.
Sprig Care is tied to your Apple ID, not the phone: tap Restore Purchases on the new iPhone.
The camera is black, or Sprig says it can’t see
Go to Settings › Sprig and turn on Camera. If another app is using the camera, close it and reopen Sprig.
Sprig named my plant wrong, or won’t name it
Fill the view with one healthy leaf, in good light, and hold still for a moment. Very young plants, flowers on their own and unusual varieties are harder. Sprig knows common houseplants and garden plants; it may not know rarer ones.
Watering reminders aren’t arriving
Reminders are part of Sprig Care. Check Settings › Notifications › Sprig and make sure notifications are allowed. Focus modes can also hold them back.
How do I add the widget?
Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Sprig. Open Sprig at least once and keep a plant first, so the widget has something to show.
How do I cancel Sprig Care?
Open Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Sprig and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep Care until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Cancel at least 24 hours before a free trial ends to avoid being charged.
A note on safety. Identification can be wrong. Never rely on Sprig to decide whether a plant is safe to eat or touch, or safe for pets. If someone may have eaten a plant, contact your local poison control centre or a doctor; for pets, a vet.
Delete your data
Everything Sprig stores is on your iPhone. To erase all of it, delete the app: touch and hold the Sprig icon, tap Remove App, then Delete App. Your kept plants, their photos and your care details are removed. We hold no copy, so there is nothing to request from us.
